  • Job Responsibility

    Position Overview: As a Social Media Manager at Afriexporter, you will play a pivotal role in building and executing our social media strategy. You will be responsible for creating and curating content, managing social media accounts, and fostering meaningful interactions with our audience to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. If you're a social media enthusiast with a knack for storytelling and a deep understanding of the digital landscape, we want to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with company goals and values.
    2. Manage and curate content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    3. Create engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
    4. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to engage with our audience and address inquiries or concerns.
    5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing campaigns.
    6. Research and implement industry trends, emerging platforms, and innovative social media techniques to stay ahead of the curve.
    7. Analyze social media data and metrics to assess performance, track KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    8. Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns to increase reach, traffic, and conversions.
    9. Stay up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms, policies, and best practices.

  • Educational Requirement

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
    • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling content and storytelling.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing is a plus.
    • Graphic design or video editing skills are a plus.
